Earn while you learn as a Diesel Technician Apprentice! Peterbilt of Atlanta’s Apprenticeship Program provides on-the-job training, combined with both classroom and computer-based training sessions.
In our apprentice program, you will receive hands-on training alongside our Master Technicians at one of our nationally recognized Peterbilt dealerships. Apprentice learning focus areas include; commercial vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance, vehicle diagnostic procedures, operation and repair of engine, drive train, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical and electronic systems, HVAC, and more. You will work alongside our Technicians while receiving classroom learning from our partnering technical schools.
To qualify for our Diesel Technician Apprentice position, you must be enrolled or planning to enroll in one of our partnering technical school’s diesel technology programs. The typical apprenticeship program will last approximately 2 years.
